"Etano needs a MySql database to store all member information."
« on: November 08, 2018, 09:08:24 PM »
I'm Using PHP:  7.2.11
MySQL: 5.7

Installing: Etano-2.6

I have a Database..  Imported the DB.SQL file and went to the install directory.

I don't see how I'm supposed to tell it where to connect to the database..  I also don't see a config file to add the info to.

What am I doing wrong?   Where do I tell the script to connect to the database?

At this time Etano doesn't support PHP 7 and will only function properly using PHP 5.3 or 5.4 (and in most cases 5.5 as well).

Please read the Etano Documentation which is an online user manual with instructions for installing Etano and addons as well as using the admin panel, etc.

Recommended System Requirements:

Installation Guide:

Here you'll info on how to create and setup your database, connection and sql file gets imported during the install process. The config file is also created during the install process based on your entries which can later be edited if necessary, the config file is the defines.php file located in the includes folder.
