Offline payment
« on: May 09, 2016, 02:25:17 AM »
Under Admin -> Actions -> Change Membership there is the possibility to choose membership and duration.

When someone pay offline am using it to change the membership put in days of duration and in the next step I've to use phpmyadmin open dsb_payments table and change manually the field amount_paid to see the payment in payment history.

Think am not the only one who has an adult dating site and accept offline payments. Is there an easy way to add an additional field in "Change Membership" to get the option to submit there the amount of money the particular member has paid ?

do you mean the payment isn't listed at all or you mean it shows as $0.00 and then you manually edit in your database?

If its just showing as $0.00 and you want to update it to the paid amount - there is a payment edit link but its theres a minor error in the default css which causes it to be hidden. if you open payment_history.css

at the bottom find: a.item_edit

and change the background to

background: url('../images/edit.png') no-repeat top left;

You will see the edit link to which you can add details to the order (order ref, paid amount ect..)

sorry may be my explanation wasn't exact, payment history is working well, when adding the amount into dsb_payments table it will be shown correctly.

What I mean is: Is it possible to add an addional field to " Change Membership", for example:

membership - available now

duration - available now

plus additional field: Amount of money

possibly need to be modified in /admin/membership_assign.php and related files

so the paid amount will be enter into the additional field and will be saved automatically into dsb_payments table and it's not necessary to do that manually.

Think it would be a great feature to make it easier to handle offline payments.

Thanks for helping out, just modified payment_history.css
That's exactly what I need.

No problem.

Perhaps some sort of offline payment option for simpler insertion could be done.

Thanks in advance.

Would be great in "Change Membership" to have the option to add the amount of money (default could be 0.00) and may be to have all the other options as well in "Change Membership" which are currently available in payment history when edit the payment data. In general that would be a great option to handle offline payments in one step. Otherwise the current option to edit data in second step in payment history would be practicable as well.

Alternate could be a separate option to handle offline payments based on /admin/membership_assign.php

Will see what I can put together :)

Probably do it as a separate option and kind of like a payment widget so a button can be displayed to users on the subscriptions page which leads to a standard page with instructions for offline payments. So admins can have both online and offline options visible

Then admin side of things will allow admin to enter all manual order details.

In my case I've solved that issue by replacing the original part of code with offline payment instructions in subscriptions.html

However a special solution to handle offline payments would be perfect.

I've managed to put something together. Will post it tomorrow after i've rechecked things. Think i might add the option to send a on-site message notifying the user their membership has been updated and is now active.
