How to delete Access Levels option?
« on: January 30, 2012, 01:07:16 PM »
Hello

I just rebuild my online community using Etano and I am very pleased.

I still need to learn how to add new plugins and option to it but the basic Etano is exactly what I am looking for.

I would like to change a little the way the site looks, customize it but it is currently not necessary.

Currently I'm interested in how I can add ads on my site header to promote certain refferal websites or exclusive users.

I also need help to remove one of the Access Levels options, I added myself as a test and now can not delete and this shows up on the Compare Memberships page too : (

Thank you in advance and apologise for long post and my bad english.

Jay

Just finde this posted by Maverick:

"You'll have to delete them manually from the database.

In phpmyadmin locate your Etano database and click dsb_access_levels from the menu, then locate the ones you added and delete them. Be extremely careful not delete any of the standard default ones from list, as you might run into problems restoring them again.

Adding new access levels is mostly for developers who create a new feature and code it for access levels."

And i just fix the Access Levels problem

Thank you Maverick
